About Salt and Pepper Aussies
Salt and Pepper Aussies was created because of our first aussie named Pepper. She is a smart and loyal companion with a silly personality that makes her a very funny character. After we had our first litter with Pepper, we fell in love with the adorable little fuzzballs and decided to turn this into a family business. Now we are growing our business by adding more breeding female dogs and studs. We have fallen in love with this amazing breed and hope you will to!
About Australian Shepherds
The Australian Shepherd is a beautiful and energetic breed that is a great companion for people with many different walks of life. However, this breed is not for everyone as they are very high energy and require a lot of space to run. If this breed is properly trained, they can accomplish some pretty incredible things! They are bred to be working dogs and are especially designed to be herding dogs. This creates instincts that some families might have issues with because this breed might try to “herd” small children by nipping at their heels. Even though this dog can be nippy, they are very protective of their families and would make a great watchdog. Pepper, the Pup That Started it All
These are pictures of Pepper, the pup that started it all. I got her when she was just a little puppy, and she has been by my side ever since. She is a loyal and smart companion and has a goofy and loveable personality. She is now approximately three and a half years old and doing amazing. She can be crazy at times, but she is always there for me when I need a buddy. One of our favorite things to do is to go on long walks in the woods and just soak up the sun and nature. Pepper loves finding sticks that are way too big for her and coming up behind me and hitting me with them. She is a little goober at times, but she is an amazing dog!
